Description: Smack the Poesy is a monthly evening of poetry readings and performances embracing a miscellany of poetic styles and voices, wrapped up in a local, relaxed, open-mic night. All are welcome to The Olde England pub to sample the local ale and local poetry. Open-mic slots are available by pre-booking or on the door. Smack the Poesy is thrilled to announce that Northampton's very own Justin Thyme will be our guest poet for the next spoken word evening on the 26th of June.
