Run the program and select 'play stand alone'
HOW TO PLAY
  • Click on the appropriate puzzle
  • Select either save to disk or run from present location (if you run from present location a warning notice will appear - simply chose the yes option to run the program)
  • IF YOU SAVE THE FILE TO DISK YOU CAN RE-PLAY THE PUZZLE ANY TIME YOU LIKE - YOU CAN ALSO SEND A COPY TO YOUR FRIENDS!
  • When the program runs SELECT THE PLAY STAND ALONE OPTION
  • YOU CAN ROTATE PIECES USING THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON

FULL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Click on the 'get the puzzle' link and then click on your choice of puzzle.

  • From the box that comes up you can select either option.
    IF YOU SELECT
    'RUN FROM PRESENT LOCATION'
    You will be able to play the puzzle but will need to come back to the web site if you want to play again. NOTE: please ignore the warning message that appears and choose 'yes' at this point - this message doesn't appear if you save the programme to disk.

    IF YOU SELECT
    'SAVE THIS PROGRAM TO DISK'
    A copy of the puzzle will be saved in a folder on your hard disk. To play the program you then need to select and run the program file saved on your disk. You can then play anytime you like without being connected to the internet - or you can send a copy to a friend as a gift!

    **IN EITHER CASE WHEN YOU RUN THE PROGRAM
    CHOOSE 'PLAY STAND ALONE'**


  • Try and complete the puzzle!! - you can move a piece around the board by clicking on it once - and you can turn the piece round when you've clicked on it by clicking the RIGHT mouse button

    • SEND A COPY TO YOUR FRIENDS

    **These puzzles can be freely distributed and copied PROVIDED no changes are made to the puzzle in any way. To do this you need to copy the puzzle '.exe' file onto your local hard disk and then e-mail a copy of the file to your friends as an 'attachment'.**

    GET THE PUZZLE

NOTE: You can't save an unfinished puzzle - you would need to obtain a copy of the puzzle programme. But if you choose the 'save to disk' option when you select the puzzle a copy will be saved on your hard disk so you can try again later.
