EARLS BARTON MUSEUM OF VILLAGE LIFE Earls Barton, Northants The small Earls Barton Museum stands in the grounds of Barkers shoe factory in Earls Barton. It contains permanent exhibitions of a shoe workers cottage at the turn of the century, a lace case and corner shop. There is also an exhibition of Earls Barton footwear manufacture, a collection of early photographs and othe local memorabilia.
