LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN BREAK A WORLD RECORD AT ROCKINGHAM 15th November 20021,488 people join hands in the world's largest ring-a-ring-a-roses
 As part of this years BBC Children in Need Appeal, coachloads of local schoolchildren were bused into Rockingham Motor Speedway to take part in an official attempt to break the record for the world's largest ring-a-roses ring. AND THEY DID IT!! Over 1,000 children (and some not so young!) linked hands and were officially counted, confirming that they did. indeed, now hold the WORLD RECORD!! - Until next year maybe!!
