The Festival is always a good opportunity for lots of local societies to promote themselvesSally Smith, Sarah Pimm and Chris Gable with their friends from the Amphibian Reptile and Insect Assoc. were there to help you overcome your fear of snakes and creepy crawliesSome younger visitors needed little encouragement and would have been happy to take them home

On the Northants Bee Keepers stand young Daniel Cummins from Northampton got a lot closer to a swarm of bees thatn he usually wouldSue and Howard Hess from Brockwatch were on hand to tell you more about those elusive badgersWhilst these young ladies from the Scouts were pretty good at persuading people to part with their cash!

There were plenty of displays in the arena and the Honda Imps display team made a popular return visitLive music was available in plenty - Both here on the Classic Gold Radio stage and elsewhereBut many people were just happy to stroll around all the trade stands
